From fabric to LEELA
The LEELA collection consists of colourful pouches made from 100% cotton. Each design combines soft fabrics, distinctive patterns and surprising colour combinations.
Use LEELA as a toiletry bag, for your small essentials on the go, or as a practical inner bag inside your Handed By shopper. With so many different colours and designs, there is a favourite for everyone.
Handmade by women in local villages
In India, small groups of women in local villages work together on our collection. The fabrics are carefully cut to size and then sewn together step by step. From the pattern and zipper to the final finishing touches, each item passes through several skilled hands before it is complete.
The women work in good working conditions and receive a fair wage for their work. Getting to know the people behind our products gives each collection even more meaning to us.
We are grateful to work with these women and to have their work become part of Handed By.
