We regularly visit our handcrafters to discuss product and material developments, carry out quality checks, inspect working conditions and nurture the partnership.
RECYCLED
Handed By gives used plastic a second life. We recycle industrial waste and use it to make strap, the basis of our baskets and bags.
HANDMADE
All our products are handwoven. We find it important that Asian customs and traditions are respected, and we work directly with the artisans themselves.
DESIGNED
We are a product developer, designer, manufacturer and wholesaler in one. Our
office, warehouse, design studio, and showroom are all based in IJsselstein.
Handed By products are all handwoven. We believe it is important that Asian customs and traditions are respected. We do not work with cold factories, but with the artisans themselves.
Handed By gives used plastic a second chance. We recycle industrial waste and use it to create strap, the basis of our baskets and bags. Plastic waste that would otherwise be discarded and end up in the environment with all its consequences.
From this waste we make granulate, which is used for every product. By using recycled plastic, we help slow down the depletion of the earth’s natural resources.
